Pro tip: Stock up on typical Chianti products at Antica Macelleria Falorni.
Much more than a store, rather a universe of traditions and flavors to discover, surrounded by history and beauty.
A few more kilometers and the outline of the medieval castle of Montefioralle appears on the horizon; a few more minutes and Panzano also comes into view. A stop here is recommended, in order to savor an excellent Florentine steak at the Antica Macelleria Cecchini, where the meat is sliced while reciting the Divine Comedy.

Day 2
Afternoon
One after another, you can spot many villages of rare beauty, such as Castellina and Castelnuovo Berardenga.
The one that stands out is Radda, with its ancient walls and the Volpaia Castle.
Lose yourself in the alleys and lanes, feel the charm of times gone by, take many photographs to add to your memory scrapbook.
The most beautiful sunset can be seen from the Brolio Castle, in Gaiole in Chianti.
You can enjoy the view all the way to Siena, laying your eyes on woods and vineyards painted yellow, red, ochre by the countless reflections of the sun.
It is a perfect ending to the day, to be celebrated with a glass of good red wine, Chianti DOCG of course.

Day 3
Day 3
Morning
You have already visited 2 "big" cities and explored the Chianti region far and wide but...the best is yet to come!
There is a whole world to discover just half an hour from the campground: travel a little further south and prepare to be awestruck by the timeless charm of Monteriggioni.
Indeed, it almost feels as if time has stood still in the picturesque medieval town center, where palaces, monuments and churches are still intact. Not to be missed is the Church of the Assumption, a secret treasure chest of a very precious work: the 16th-century wooden choir.

An evocative banquet at the castle kicks off the celebrations, including costumed re-enactments, shows, medieval markets and street performers.
