Etruscan Coast: Wild Living
Now that you've had your share of worldliness, it's time to head for "wilder" shores: to the Etruscan Coast!
Between land and sea, from the golden beaches to the verdant hills dotted with ancient villages with winding alleys, this stretch of Tuscany is evocative and unspoiled. It is brimming with stunning natural beauty, breathtaking scenery, good food and great wines.
Start exploring it from Marina di Bibbona: spend a couple of hours on its sandy beaches and, when happy hour rolls around, treat yourself to a glass of Bolgheri DOC.
Then, travel to San Vincenzo and follow the picturesque Sailor's Walk.
On one side is the view of the town, of the mountains and of moored boats; on the other is the open sea.

Back to real Tuscany
How does the common saying go?
"Hurray ..., it hangs and hangs but it always stands up!"
It is mythical, it is world famous, everyone knows it: it is the Tower of Pisa!
A must-see stop on any proper Tuscan tour, it alone is worth the trip. However, visiting the other architectural gems that make up the famous Piazza dei Miracoli makes a trip to Pisa even better:

What's left of Tuscany
By now, you have Tuscany in the palm of your hand!
You've seen it all: sea, hills, spas, churches and museums.
You have tasted everything: Florentine steak, ribollita, pappardelle, panforte.
You have tried the amazing wines: Chianti Classico, Bolgheri DOC, raisin wine, vin santo.
Before heading back home, however, plan a stop in Val D'Orcia.
Montalcino and Montepulciano are the headliners: spend the morning walking around the streets of the center, visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, be left speechless in front of the Abbey of Sant'Antimo.
Nearby are Pienza and Monticchiello, famous, respectively, for the renowned local pecorino cheese and for the breathtaking views made immortal by the blockbuster film "The Gladiator," which overlook the entire Val d'Orcia and its sun-drenched countryside.
Go along the legendary cypress-lined roads that have made the Val d'Orcia famous all over the world, fall in love with Tuscany!
